Sunday Update
March 16, 2008
We had two great services today and we will have three services tonight. Dr. Phillips preached at Igreja Batista Viva (IBV) and Pastor Suitt preached at Igreja Batista Missionaria (IBM). Pastor Suitt preached a message on missions and it was used by the Lord. Ten people came forward and committed to reach their community for Christ. They also, committed to serve the Lord wherever He sends them. This was awesome because the group was made up of all age groups, young and old a like. Dr. Phillips preached on the servant hood of Christ which is a great message, especially for the new believers at IBV.
We fed the children breakfast before Sunday school. We do this weekly to meet the need and to encourage Sunday school attendance. Usually, some hungry adults show up and of course we feed them as well.
