Easter Celebration
March 22, 2008
We ended our trip tonight with a wonderful service where we brought all of our church plants together. All three churches participated in the worship service and Dr. Phillips preached on the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. It was a wonderful service and 8 people went forward to accept Christ. Some of them were the people we visited on Friday. One lady who is a Spiritualist would not let us visit on Friday but she ended up at the service and accepted Christ. Our van driver and his wife and son were there and really enjoyed it.
When we were being dropped off I told Daniel (van driver) and his wife that we wanted to see them in June when we come back. They said we would see them at the church. They plan to begin attending Igreja Batista Viva as a family. Pastor Magioli has a home visitation scheduled with them. What a great blessing!
Barbara's parents were also at the service and though they did not respond more seeds were planted. They also talked to the Pastor's and their wives after the service. It seems the Lord is building friendships between them. We pray that the Lord will use one of these friendships to reach them for Christ.
We leave in the morning so I am not sure if I will get the pictures from tonight posted on the site. If not I will get them up on Monday. Thank you all for your prayers and support. God bless.
