        Recently, we had a visitor at Igreja Batista Viva, one of our church plants in Porto Alegre, Brazil.  Her name is Lourdes.  She came with another lady who had been attending for a little over 1 year.  Lourdes did not receive a personal invitation.  Instead when she saw her friend leaving home she asked her where she was going.  Her friend said “to church” and Lourdes decided to come with her.  
        Lourdes was very reverent and respectful throughout the service, she paid attention to everything.  On Wednesday she returned and stayed for the entire service.  She came back the following Sunday.  During the sermon, she cried a lot and when the invitation was given she went forward, making a decision for Christ.  She continues to come to our church but now alone, her friend has fallen away.

        We provide a new believers class during Sunday School taught by Pastor Magioli.  He had just began a new cycle of the class and Lourdes was very interested in being a part of it.  She began to attend this class because she wanted to be baptized.  On April 27th we baptized 5 new believers including Lourdes.  She cried a lot stating she is happy about what the Lord is doing in her life.
