Summer Plans

June 4, 2008

This time next week we will be getting our bags together preparing to leave for Brazil on Friday.  We have a busy summer ahead of us and I want to share our schedule so you can pray for us.

June & July

  • June 13th - 23rd - Leading a team to Brazil
    • Please pray for the International Conference on Missions - we are still in need of sponsors for Pastors and for the cost of the conference.
    • We will be posting daily updates on the blog during this time so please subscribe or check back often.
  • June 24th - July 9th - Remain in Brazil after the group leaves and will be planning for Share Christmas 2008, as well as exploring the possibility of LBM beginning two new church planting efforts in Porto Alegre.
  • June 25th - 29th - In Paraguay meeting with national pastors and US mission agencies about our expansion into Paraguay - Lord willing we will begin the legal process to establish LBM in Paraguay so that we can begin planting churches.
  • July 21st - 31st - In Georgia and Florida meeting with pastors to update them on our work in Brazil and our expansion into Paraguay.

August

  • First week of August - Lord willing we will be able to rest and enjoy some family time.
  • The remainder of August - Getting caught up in the office and scheduling meetings with pastors.

September

  • Early September - Meeting with pastors in eastern Pennsylvania and Ohio.
  • Late September - Meeting with pastors in New England.

Please pray for us this summer.  We praise the Lord for the opportunities He has placed before us and we trust He will meet the financial needs for all the traveling we will be doing.  If you are in one of the areas we will be visiting this summer and would like to meet we would love to do so.

We are also looking into exhibiting at some conferences and are praying that the Lord will provide for us to get a display that we can use in these venues.

Thank you for your prayers and support.  Your partnership in this ministry is truly a blessing to us.
