International Dessert Reception - A Big Hit!
November 11, 2008
This past Friday we hosted our first annual International Dessert Reception. We had 19 desserts from 12 different countries. With about 65 people in attendance we were very pleased with the response. It was a great opportunity for us to share our vision for church planting among the poor of Latin America with new people and to update those who have been our ministry partners for some time.

We are looking for people who would be willing to host a similar event to introduce Living Bread Ministries into their circle of influence. We would enjoy an opportunity to meet with smaller groups like community groups, Sunday school classes, or just friends and family of our current ministry partners. We prefer this type of grassroots approach to build a team of people who will facilitate church planting among the needy. We hope you can join us at a similar event in the future.
I want to thank my wife Barbara, and everyone who prepared desserts for us to share. Also for Isabella's, Machu Pichu, and Edible Arrangements for donating desserts as well. In addition, I would like to thank the nursery workers who helped so that parents could enjoy some time fellowshipping with other believers.
