Share Christmas 2008

Yesterday we distributed the last of the school supplies and hygiene kits. We also provided an inflatable swimming pool for the preschool children. This years project was truly an international event. In addition to the gifts provided by American churches and individuals we also had participation from individuals in Brazil and Colgate Brazil donated toothbrushes and dental floss for the hygiene kits. In all 300 children benefited from Share Christmas.
Of course all the gifts were distributed at special Christmas services and the Gospel was preached. The church members really pulled together to make this years event a big success. At Igreja Batista Viva the youth assembled the kits and helped distribute them along with the monthly food kits.
We would like to thank everyone who participated in Share Christmas this year. You have impacted the lives of 300 children, their families, and their communities.
